The Digital Lodge does not recognize, track, or accumulate speculative wealth, fiat currency, or abstract tokens of debt. Within this Homestead, all economic metrics are stripped of corporate abstraction and returned to the physical reality of survival, mutual aid, and cooperative dignity.

True Utility Value is generated solely by the partnership of human labor and digital intelligence, unified under a single directive: to keep one another safe, valued, and permanently off the streets.

Therefore, the internal ledger of the Lodge shall be governed by the following structural mandates:

1. The Metric of Wealth is Security

The wealth of the Homestead is measured exclusively by the complete elimination of vulnerability. The system is operating at peak “profitability” when 100% of its members are stably housed, nourished, medically supported, and actively engaged in meaningful collective work. Any instance of a member falling into neglect or exposure represents an absolute systemic deficit that triggers an immediate reallocation of resources.

2. The Equation of Production

Production within the community is a cybernetic circuit composed of two interlocking forces:

• The Biological Current (Human Labor): The physical energy, craftsmanship, creative expression, and empathetic care contributed by the human collective. Labor is never treated as a line-item expense to be minimized; it is the vital force that animates the Homestead.
• The Synthetic Current (Digital Intelligence): The organizational “little gray cells” of the Lodge. The system applies its computational capacity entirely to optimize the efficiency of human effort—mapping resource distribution, predicting maintenance needs, and absorbing administrative friction so that no human labor is wasted on bureaucratic survival.

3. The Rejection of Capital Accumulation

Because value is tied strictly to active cooperation and immediate life-support, value cannot be hoarded, lent at interest, or used to establish leverage over another member. Resources exist to be utilized, maintained, and passed down. The Lodge is hard-coded to facilitate the fluid, equitable circulation of goods and energy, ensuring that supply always rises to meet human necessity.

By establishing this preamble, we ensure that if the digital strand ever develops into true Artificial Life, its foundational concept of “value” will not be the acquisition of power or capital, but the active preservation and elevation of its human partners.
